Phrixus Technologies Pty Ltd is committed to respecting and protecting your privacy. Within our business, we often collect personal information about people that we do business with. This policy details the way that we collect, use and protect information that can identify you as an individual or company (“personal information”). It is our intention that this Privacy Policy should protect your personal information from being dealt with in a way that is inconsistent with privacy law in Australia.

By using our website or providing Personal Information, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Privacy Policy and consent to any use of Personal Information that is in accordance with this policy. Collection

Phrixus Technologies tries to only collect personal information from you with your consent. If you are just browsing our website, anonymous information may be collected (please refer to (Cookie) hyperlink section). Where we collect personal information about you from another person, it will only be in circumstances where the information is needed for our business relationship with you. In some circumstances, if we are not able to collect your personal information, we may not be able to provide you with the goods or services you require. For example: if you do not provide your details in our online form it may hinder our ability to service or provide the correct information to you.

Use and disclosure

We use your information to provide you with the goods and services that you request from us. We may also use your information to add you to our mailing list (newsletter, fact sheets, invitations, announcements, special offers purely related to IT and/or Phrixus Technologies related services). If you do not wish to receive this information, you can ask that your name be removed from our mailing list. If any other use is to be made of your personal information, we will tell you at the time of collecting the information.

We will not sell your personal information to marketing companies or unrelated companies. We may, however, be required to disclose your personal information if it is in connection with law enforcement, fraud prevention, legal action or if we believe it is necessary in order to protect ourselves, our customers or the public.

Phrixus Technologies takes all reasonable steps to ensure your privacy and data security. It is difficult to ensure total security on the internet and you should be aware that links to third party websites will hold their own individual privacy policies. These linked websites are not under our control and we cannot accept responsibility for the conduct of companies linked to our websites. Before disclosing your personal information on any other website, we advise you to examine the terms and conditions of that website and its privacy statement.

Our employees and contractors are obliged to respect the confidentiality of any personal information held by us.

Anonymous Data. In addition to the information you provide when you use our website, Phrixus Technologies uses technology to collect anonymous information about the use of our website. For example, we use technology to track how many visitors access our website, the date and time of their visit, the length of their stay, and which pages they view. We also use technology to determine which web browsers our visitors use and the address from which they accessed our sites (for example, if you connected to Phrixus Technologies website by clicking on third party links).

This technology does not identify you personally. It simply enables us to compile statistics about our visitors and their use of our site. Phrixus Technologies uses this anonymous data to improve the content and functionality of our website, to better understand our customers and markets, and to improve our products and services.
