Finalists for Microsoft Small Business Specialist Partner of the Year Award, ANZ 2007
Microsoft held their annual Australia/New Zealand Partner Conference on the gorgeous Hamilton Island, August 2007. This 3 day event, attended by over 800 Microsoft Partners, showcased many of the exciting, new product releases planned for 2008. There is ALOT on its' way! Microsoft held deep-dive training sessions, business solution workshops and offered the chance for Partners to be publicly recognised for their implementation of Microsoft business solutions (and yes, we also had a lot of fun on the island too!)
Among the awards is the Small Business Specialist Partner of the Year. There are just over 400 Small Business Specialists in Australia so competition was high.
Phrixus Technologies was among the top 4 finalists, off which we are immensley proud and I must say Mark & I felt a rush of Hollywood nerves as the nominations were read out!
Our nomination was a proven case study for a client of ours, where Microsoft looked at the clients requirements, our selection of Microsoft business tools, our level of management and implementation, the continued level of management and service and a qualified and measurable difference to the client's business operations and bottom line.
